Hi! Im Shonagh Cleary, founder of Realta.

I created Realta to provide a positive development - focused environment where young players - especially girls - can build confidence, strong, fundamentals, and a genuine love for the game. rooted in Irish tradition, the name Realta means 'star' reflecting the belief that every player has the potential to shine when given the right guidance, encouragement and opportunity.

I'm originally from Ireland, where soccer has always been a central part of my life.

 

I moved out to the United States to play College Soccer, an experience that deepened my understanding of the game and exposed me to different styles, training, competition and player development.

 

I have over 15 years in coaching working with all different levels and ages. Coaching has always been more than a job to me - its been a long standing dream of mine to create something of my own that reflects the knowledge, passion and values I've developed through the years. I continue to play soccer to this day, and the sport remains deeply rooted in who I am. Having played at multiple levels. I understand the importance of strong fundamentals, confidence and enjoying the process of improvement.
